Recent Birthdays and Parties

From my birthday party

Here are some pictures that I’ve collected over the past 2 months or so. Among them are pics from the birthdays of Me, Jack, Abe, Dinah, and Autumn. Some other randoms are thrown in as well.

Random awesome things that happened in the last quarter of 2009.

O.K. So I’m too lazy to separate all this stuff into separate posts. Deal.

Holidays were fun (and fattening).

Here are some pictures we took over the holiday’s. Most are from our family’s gift exchange.

News from Ashley and Tena Duff!

The Duffs with new daughter Alaina

Thea’s sister Tena had her second baby on Sunday, May 3 at 7:30pm. Ashley and Tena named her Alaina Faith. She weighed 9lbs, 3oz (Thea thinks). Tena and Alaina are doing fine and expect to go home tomorrow. Here are a couple pictures:

And click here for a video of Leeyana describing her baby sister (whom she is very excited about)!

Introducing Jack & Ruby Konkel

Music Rehearsal - Clarence & Michelle

Well, it really happened!  Jack and Ruby were married in a nice, laid-back service on February 21, 2009 at Springside Baptist Church.  A good time was had by all, and things went well.  Check out the photo gallery for this joyous event!

Happy Thanksgiving To All You Canadians, Eh?

Tena got creative with the Rice Krispies treats. Her initial attempt (at turkey-shaped treats) didn't work out as well.

Here’s hoping that all the Canadians reading this have/had a happy Thanksgiving.  We had Clarence and Michelle’s clan over to the house after church yesterday.  The kids had a great time playing in the snow, and to my surprise actually managed to make some semblance of a snow man!

In the early evening, we headed over to Bernie and Martha’s for turkey dinner.  I must say that it was delicious!

On tap today will be the big Riders’ football game.  We will be watching on DVR’d delay after I am done working and when the kids go down for their nap.  It is a HUGE game as a win would put the Riders in a great position to claim a division title as we come down the stretch and head into the playoffs in a few weeks.

Enjoy our pictures from Thanksgiving after the jump.

Pics from Martha’s Birthday

Someone got a little 'generous' with the candles. But, hey, it's an easy mistake to make!

I don’t have too many, but there they are. Heather made it back from Regina for the occasion, and a good time was had by all!

Aunt Martha’s Birthday!

(Posted from my iPhone)
It’s the big birthday party tonight! Delicious lasagna is on the menu. I plan to eat more than my share.
Maybe I will post some pictures tomorrow (if I’m not still too bloated).
